TruSkool Breakz Radio is the new home of the NSB Familia.

For more than 20 years, NSB Radio was a home for breakbeat culture – a place where DJs, producers and listeners from all over the world came together through one thing: the breaks.

Hundreds of DJs passed through those airwaves. Established names, underground heads, new talent and DJs who simply had something different to say with their music. NSB became far more than just an internet radio station. It became a community, a movement and an important part of the underground breakbeat scene, even picking up awards along the way.

When NSB finally closed its doors after two decades, the story could have ended.

But the Familia wasn’t ready to stop.

In 2021, TruSkool Breakz became our new home – carrying the spirit, the people and the music forward into a new chapter.

Today, the station brings together DJs and listeners from across the globe, keeping the breakbeat flag flying and pushing the sound in every direction it wants to go. Oldskool breaks, nu skool, electro, funky breaks, bass, experimental sounds and everything in between if it’s got breaks, energy and soul, it belongs here.

THE ARCHIVE

The history hasn’t disappeared.

We’ve kept the NSB archives alive, bringing back classic sets and memorable mixes from DJs who shaped the scene over the last 20 years. These recordings are snapshots of a time, a sound and a community, some legendary, some forgotten, all part of the story.

Alongside the old NSB sessions, the TruSkool Breakz archive continues to grow with new shows, live broadcasts, guest mixes and sets from the DJs keeping the culture moving today.
